What does this object say about your personality and personal style? Post a photo of your object and your statement on your blog as your first blog post.
I have chosen a video from a photographer that I follow. Von Wong is a photographer from Europe who creates these amazing and breath taking photos. He is a photographer that is not afraid to explore and keep expanding his photography work.
This video speaks to me in particular because it shows that photography is not just the process of taking a photo any more. Everyone in the world has access to cameras these days and the ability actually to explore photography as an art has started to become overcrowded with any person been able to take a photo Photoshop it and claim it as there own. Photography and the art of photography are much more than this. I have a passion for photography and have loved it ever since I was a kid. Remembering the first camera that I ever got the plain point-and-shoot digital compact camera. It was here, but I’m starting to get into photography taking my camera everywhere and anywhere shooting whatever I could. It is now only after I had to be to a design school and started to learn my camera and my craft that I can fully appreciate what another artist has done.
Every day I both design and take photos and I always keep pushing myself to find unique angles and elements in the design that have never been done before. Like Vong Wong, I like to Challenge what I do and always question myself. I’m never really happy with what I create. I love the fact that Von Wong shows that his craft is not just taking a photo. I love looking at the whole process behind what he dose and how we do it. It makes me stop and think about what I’m doing to make sure that the process has fully been thought through.
This video I think reflects my personality and style because it explains that even though everyone can use the programs and some people are excellent technically with them. But there is much more thought That goes into a final design. I’m a person that must question everything and think about what it is I’m designing. I like to showcase the final design but also showcase the process behind how important the design is. Explaining to my clients the purpose of the design.
